Part 1: Aging Minds Matter: Mental Health Considerations in Older Adults
Dr. Tammy Duong, UCSF Vice Chair of Medical Education and Ambulatory Executive Medical Director, Adult Behavioral Health; Director, UCSF Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship
Participants will become more equipped to recognize mental health conditions in older adults, understand the barriers they face in accessing care, and explore solutions for delivering support and services.
Part 2: The Lived Experience: Navigating Mental Health Care when over 65
Hear firsthand from a member of the 65+ community about their personal journey navigating mental health services and deepen your understanding of the real-world impact of key systems.
Part 3: Mental Health Considerations when Navigating End-of-Life Planning

Participants will learn key legal aspects of end-of-life planning, gain insights into how mental health can impact the process, explore available supports and potential conflicts, and learn strategies for navigating sensitive conversations around end-of-life care.
Part 4: Securing Homes and Ensuring Rights: Addressing Housing Challenges for Adults 65+ with Psychiatric Disabilities
