Steven Bruce, Executive Director of PWDF provided public testimony before the 12 member national Ticket to Work Advisory Panel. Topics included: Other Disability Work Incentive Programs including PASS (Plan to Achieve Self Support), Trial Wok Period (TWP), Extended Period of Eligibility (EPE), 2 for 1 program for SSI disability beneficiaries ($2.00 earned means $1.00 subtracted from SSI benefits), and other Work Incentives Impacts Adversely on people with psychiatric impairments due to the episodic nature of the disorders.

Other panel topics included: The panel presented about private insurance industry commentary on the value of the Ticket to Work reforms; how to improve recruitment of ticket holders using companies in the private sector, e.g. how to work with the private sector to manage/leverage claims; how to reduce SSA overpayment confusion; how to ensure that the one-stop employment centers and the employment networks are fully accessible to individuals that are visually impaired; training and information sharing within the Ticket to Work program.
