Community CurrentsUpcoming Workshops and Legal Clinics: Reasonable Accommodations in Housing Workshop, SSDI / SSI Post-Entitlement / Eligibility ClinicWorkshop: Join us on May 6, 2014 from 2:00–4:00 p.m. at Support for Families of Children with Disabilities at 1663 Mission St., San Francisco, CA 94103. We will be presenting information on reasonable accommodations in housing for people with psychiatric and/or developmental disabilities. Legal Clinics: Do you have a psychiatric and/or developmental disability, receive Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and/or Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI), and is the Social Security Administration (SSA) conducting a work review? If you are already on benefits and you are being reviewed or ceased, we may be able to assist. For example, if SSA is conducting a work review or income or resource redetermination and you are having problems with SSA, whether based on your disability or the way in which SSA applies their work incentive rules to you, this clinic may be for you. This clinic is not for overpayments only. Next clinics: April 24, May 22, and June 26, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., by appointment only. Call (415) 931-3070 or (510) 522-7933 for an appointment.
