In recognition of People With Disabilities Foundation’s efforts on behalf of the mentally disabled, Hon. Gavin Newsom, mayor of San Francisco, issued a proclamation making June 3, 2008 People With Disabilities Day in San Francisco. This proclamation coincides with the premiere of PWDF’s newest video, Understanding Employees and Job Applicants with Psychiatric Disabilities.
